Hazy blond color. Good Pilsner, with some pleasant sweetness and a subtle ginger touch. A good job!

Huge yellow-amber head, collapsing with very good lace; hazy chocolate-brown beer. Sourish tinge in the nose, very specific arom, reminding me of an Indian sauce - mint/yoghurt/cilandro? Definitely yoghurt. Cheese aperitive biscuits. Very sourish beer, lemony, buttermilk. Faint flavour of flaked milkchocolate. Lactic acid. Adstringent mouthfeel, dry-out. Not thin, seems like oatmeal-filled. I cannot quite believe this was meant to be as such. It’s not at all bad, but just too weird to be believed. Thanks for unique beer, Alex.

An unclear yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet and very wheaty. The flavor is also dominated by wheat, and that special sourness that I connect with German Weissen. An average beer. Maybe the not that high marks are due to the fact, that this was sampled bottled in Denmark, brought in by Alex (fiulijn) who had bottled it at the Brasserie. Thanks, Alex, for the hard work.

A hazy red beer with a fast disappearing head. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel and sourness. And so is the flavor. Maybe the not that high marks are due to the fact, that this was sampled bottled in Denmark, brought in by Alex (fiulijn) who had bottled it at the Brasserie. Thanks, Alex, for the hard work. (6/3/6/3/11) Resampled at the brewery: A hazy red beer with a nice small off-whit head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and the flavor is of black currants and finishes dry.

A deep red beer with a small disappearing beige head. The aroma is malty with hints of sourness. The flavor is primarily of roasted malt with a slight sour background. Maybe the not that high marks are due to the fact, that this was sampled bottled in Denmark, brought in by Alex (fiulijn) who had bottled it at the Brasserie. Thanks, Alex, for the hard work.

A hazy yellow beer with an OK but disappearing head. The aroma is wheaty sour. And the flavor is a standard blonde flavor; wheaty sour. Maybe the not that high marks are due to the fact, that this was sampled bottled in Denmark, brought in by Alex (fiulijn) who had bottled it at the Brasserie. Thanks, Alex, for the hard work.

Draught; 2004-01-07, 6-5-8-5-15
Dark amber color. Light malt and roasted malt aroma. Excellent maltiness, sweet, velvety, smooth, with a good balance of roasted malt; delicate coffee. Caramel and nuts finish. Another good try!

Bottle; 2004-03-02, 6-3-7-4-13
Unfortunately has lost almost all the carbonation… The aroma is ordinary (malt and caramel), but stronger than the draught one. The taste is of a reasonable stout, not outstanding. The nutty, roasted final is still a good thing.

Cloudy blond color. Spicy nose: oregan, coriander. Dry taste, citrus fruits (bitter), coriander, light curry. Dry final, with some good hop aroma; the curry is more evident here.

Brewed with cocoa and pink pepper.
Cloudy amber, beautiful creamy head, persistent. Delicate aroma, with some malt and cocoa. Smooth, a delicate background of cocoa (no vanilla, no artificial flavors!); caramel. Ordinary palate.
Original; successful experiment.

It's my 3rd Chocolate beer, after Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Florisgaarden Chocolat, and the only one I would try again with pleasure.

Very nice and original colour, like pink grapefruit, hazy, with a beautiful head and magnificent lace. Exceptional fruity aroma, muscatel grapes and some hop. Pleasant taste, with still some beer character, not completely hidden by the fruit (raspberries), which gives just an additional touch. The palate is strong, maybe just too much on the bitter side. A very nice surprise.
