Small beige head. Clear deep brown body with light carbonation. Sugary vinuous funky aroma with fruity vinegary wild berry and wood notes. Dry-sweet-acidic wooden vinegary fruity taste with earthy funky salty notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-acidic earthy fruity chemical aftertaste with wild berry and compost notes. It’s not clean, but it’s still quite nice. (0.375l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

Medium white head doesn’t last. Hazy paleish red body. Peachy barnyard and wood aroma with waxy honey notes. Dry-sweet-acidic peachy barnyard vinegar taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel, almost muddy. Dryish-acidic wooden mealy vinegary aftertaste with raisiny barnyard notes. Much later follow some faint honey notes. Unusual. Very nice aroma, but not as much flavour. Not as clear and fresh as it could be. Still, a very interesting beer. (0.375l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

0.33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and the rest of Bergen Tasting Crew. It pours a near black body with a aggressive massive creamy chocolate head. Aroma is nice and roasted, it has some lactic milkshake-chocolate notes, coffee, some dark chocolate and a little bit of dry cardboard. It has a oily mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation and medium-bodied. Lots of burned flavors; toast, charcoal, malts and gunpowder. Also some coffee and chocolate in here. A decent stout indeed, and this has to be "the good and proper child" in the LoverBeer family.

0.375l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and the rest of Bergen Tasting Crew. This little guy pours a near black body with a small bubbly sidesticking tanned head. Aroma has roasted malts, sour coffee, notes of burned rubber, black wood and hints of alcohol. Soft carbonation, light oily mouthfeel, and it's medium-bodied. This is one strange imp stout! It's brett-sour, has some burned malts, lots of coffee and a really nice roasted, sour and bitter finish and aftertaste. One different beer indeed but I have to say that I liked it.

0.33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and the rest of Bergen Tasting Crew. This one pours a clouded reddish-brown body with a small small bubbly beige head. Aroma is light sour, there's definitely some red currants in here, notes of sweet cherries? Average carbonation, oily mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Good flavors on this one. It's sweet, has notes of cherries - almost like it's concentrated and thickened sweet & sour cherry. Hints of wood and perhaps some gooseberries?. Ends nice and warming with a nice sweet alcohol finish.

0.375l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and the rest of Bergen Tasting Crew. My first in the series: it pours a light unclear almost murky-brown body with lots of big black sediments and a small sidesticking bubbly beige head. Aroma has the sour aspect of brett and green apples but also something sweet almost toffee and caramel-like sweetness and light wood. Also some hints of red berries, perhaps red currants? It has a slick and light oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation and it's medium to light-bodied. Tastes much the same as the aroma. There's a sour, almost vinegar-like flavor, some wood but also something mildly sweet. Special stuff, but not bad.

0.375l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and the rest of Bergen Tasting Crew. It pours a cloudy pinkish-brown body with a small big-bubbly pinkish head. Aroma is mild, light sour with hints of tobacco, sour grass and sugared cherries. It has a mild oily to watery mouthfeel, average carbonation and medium to light-bodied. Flavors are mild sour, and also here some notes of cherries, some grapes, perhaps even some hints of apple vinegar? and it ends kinda oaky and sour. Not to bad this one.
