On tap. Pours a thick cloudy amber with light head. Aromas of orange juice, mash fruit and sweet malts. Flavours follow same with a bit of sweet pineapple and passion fruit. Quite nice.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty musty, with earthy and citric hops, with an odd vegetal character and piney hop component. Flavour is better, with lots of piney and spicy hoppiness, an earthy character, and backed by just enough biscuity malt backing. Fairly juicy, with a nicely piney astringent finish. Not sure it's my favourite Superflux / Machine IPA, but it's another nice one added to the roster.

Can, Legacy. Cloudy and pale. On the nose, a little mango and a little grapefruit. Otherwise the usual hoppy-yeasty dynamic of this style. Moderate bitterness. Has a fairly nice bitterness, the orangey-grapefruity hop is good. You can taste a bit of alcohol as well. Nice brew.

Tall can from The Gull. Canned on 2017-04-18. Pours a dirty murky blonde with a white head. Aroma is dank with tropical fruits (pineapple), slightly dirty. Similar taste. Quite good.

2017-09-17, can from The Gull, North Vancouver, packaged 11/09/2017, 8-4-8-5-16=41
Hazy to cloudy dark yellow. Very nice fruit notes in the aroma, orange, mandarin, but also a bit green. It seems a bit drier and more bitter than the Pretty Much Yeah tasted side to side, with loads of citrus peel, on a crisp malt base. Excellent. Possibly still too young.

2017-07-23, can, 3 months old, 8-4-7-4-15=38
It seems to have more citrusy and piney character, moderate dank, mild fruity; less fruity than when fresher, and with light vegetable notes in the final.
Although fresher is better, it's still an excellent beer.

2017-05-01, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 7-4-8-5-16=40
Side to side with Happyness. Very murky. Mild fruity aroma, zesty. The mouthfeel is incredibly creamy and smooth for this beer, but it also has more body than the Happyness; much stronger hop character, quite dank, and zesty.
Better than the Happyness tonight, but not as good as the can.

2017-04-22, can from Strathcona Brewery, 8-4-8-4-17=41
Blonde color with orange hue, cloudy but not filthy, large bubbles, and short head retention.
Juicy aroma, orange, pineapple, mango, a touch of lychee, and a hint of piney hops. The mouthfeel is dry and lean, crackery malt base, perfectly coordinated with the hops, that are more resiny and piney than fruity (orange peel, bergamot); there seem to be a strong yeast character too, mostly in the final, which is just slightly harsh.
Excellent IPA, I may like it more in a week or so.

355 ml can. Pours a cloudy orange amber with moderate head. Aromas of dry spicy tropical fruit, oranges and bready malts. Flavors of pithy citrus leaning towards limes, rubbery resin, trail mix fruit and doughy malts. Very nice but in a packed market of same.

On tap. Pours a light clear amber with moderate foamy head. Aromas of bready tropical fruit and dusty sweet malts. Flavors of same with additional juicy sweet orange and doughy malts. Great stuff, somewhat full but nicely balance.
