Hazy yellow, huge white head. Aroma is musty tropical fruit, wet cardboard, light crackers. Mouth feel is ok, carb is solid. Low to medium bitter, a touch pithy, meh.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 12-13-2024). Black with beige head. Coffee, light roast, fruity coffee bean acidity with some overextraction. Weird fruity sweetness that throws things off a bit. Okay, prefer the other Drip series offerings, maybe it's the beans they use or maybe it's overboiling in order to get a bigger flavour, but it doesn't help the coffee bean addition.

473mL can. Pours black with a small tan head. A ridiculous amount of marshmallows, chocolate, black liquorice, and vanilla on the nose. Flavour is similar to the nose: tons of marshmallow, chocolate, and vanilla. Very rich, though cut back a bit with the alcohol. Very thick on the palate. The nose presents a pretty brutal dessert richness. A brutal dessert palate that also lacks depth. This could be great if the nose was backed up with a depth of flavour. Finishes in mediocrity.

Flight pour at Darby's. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Pine and candied sugar on the nose. Flavour has pine and stale citrus rind, stale malts. Hop epxression is tired; this is hard to enjoy.

6oz pour at Superflux. Pours clear pale gold with a minimal white head. Carrot bread on the nose? Flavour has boiled vegetables and soggy biscuits. The carbonation is high, which is the only redeeming quality of the beer. This is revolting.

6oz pour at brewery. Pours opaque yellow with a small white head. Thick stonefruit with some bright citrus accents on the nose. Flavour has fairly bitter citrus peel up front, base has a generic stonefruit character. Lots of gritty chalkiness. The initial bitterness is good, but there's not enough juiciness to back it up and the chalk deals the death blow. This is just terrible.

6oz pour at the brewery. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Tons of cocoa powder and lactose on the nose. Flavour has more roast coming through, more of the coffee, though there's still a fair amount of cocoa powder coming through that cheapens it. Body is reasonable, erring on the thick side. Disappointing, given the quality of previous beer in the Drip series.

On tap at brewery. Pours opaque yellow with a white head. Orange citrus, mango, lactose, and hop burn on the nose. Flavour has citrus pith, bitter stonefruit pit, chalk, and hop burn. Very mediocre DIPA.
