Can, 0.473l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of citrus, pineapple and passion fruit. Pours clear golden color with large soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and grainy, following is herbal and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Huge thanks to CanadaCrusher…

12oz pour at Biercraft. Pours nearly opaque yellow with white head. Aroma has tons of tropical fruit and coconut. Flavour also has a healthy dose of coconut with mango and peaches. Pretty solid.

On nitro tap at Superflux. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has vague malts. Flavour has flat, sweet malts. Almost no carbonation. What was the point?

Poured from the tap @ Superflux. Opaque dull pink-ish red with pink head. Artificial strawberry, vanilla, some graham cracker cheesecake in there, but medium-thin. If you're going to do a smoothie beer, do a thick-ass smothie beer to make it worthwhile. Flavours are big upfront, but dissipate quickly on the tongue. Disappointing. I think I'm also not a fan of the strawberry puree they use (based on my previous Heavy Fruit ratings - have to keep that in mind for the future).

On tap at Superflux. Pours opaque yellow. Aroma has dank hops doused in hop burn. Flavour has citrus and dank hops covered in chalk dust and finished with hop burn. Based on the one Other Half beer I've had, this tastes like their hop work plus the characteristic Superflux chalky bullshit.

Poured from the tap @ Superflux. Cloudy blonde with small white head. Citrus forward hops, a cleaner NEIPA for Superflux standards, but a bit simplistic. Okay.

Poured from the tap @ Superflux. Very hazy yellow with small white head. Sweet citrus with a hint of allium in the background. Better than expected. Fairly smooth and balanced.

Nov 19, 2024 (7/3/8/3/15=3.6): Poured from 473mL can. Opaque yellow with small white head. Muted tropical hops with a very mild juiciness, hint of hop burn on the finish. Overall the hops are a bit muddled, but it's still decent overall. Oct 14, 2024 (8/3/7/3/15=3.6): Poured from the tap @ Superflux. Completely opaque yellow with minimal white head. Sweet underlay that mutes some of the harsh hop burn that Superflux has come to be known for. Mild dankness, light tropical hops, minimal hop burn, not sure why the hate for this one. It's decent.
