Black, looks inky. The aroma is peanut, caramel and vanilla. On the palate it has a lot of roasty bitterness. A bit unbalanced, actually, because the sweet/bitter elements aren't well-integrated. I like how rich this is for 8% but the integration of the different components is not dialed in. It's pretty clunky.

Dull colour. Medium head. Opaque. Tartish, vague flavours all round. Quite yeasty. Low bitterness. Oaty mouthfeel, but the other elements are kind of drifting in the ether, incoherently mumbling in the distance.

On tap at Superflux, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of chalk, suspended yeast, and revolting hopburn. Flavour is quite hopburny, with chalk galore, lots of green bitterness, and a little allium. Nothin but hopburn. The worst hop x 3 in a crappy base.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice oily piney hop character, a touch of woody hops, and light oily resins. Flavour is perhaps less impressive, with piney hops, a pronounced minerality, and some resinous hops oils. A bit too minerally, which obscures the hop expression. Good.

473ml can. (6.0% abv). Pours a slightly hazy gold yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy pale malt, orange, mango, cantaloupe and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, lemon peel, mango, honeydew melon and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty and easy to drink.

On nitro tap at Superflux, pours a deep dark brown / black with a medium off-white head. Aroma is soft, with toasted malt and soft bready notes. Flavour is very Irish-style, with an almost tart-like character to the malt, finishing dry and bready. Nothing special but it’s clean enough. Okay.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of piney hops, gentle spruce tips, and some oiliness. Flavour is more pungent on the spruce tips, with plenty of piney hops, resinous hop oils, and a crisp biscuity malt. Just oily enough, with excellent spruce and pine character. This is excellent.

On tap at Superflux. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Dry pine on the nose. Flavour has dry pine, a touch of dankness, allium, pale malts. Moderately dry finish. Not bad.

On tap at Superflux. Pours clear gold with a white head. Lots of pine, dank oils, some sweet malts on the nose. Flavour has tons of pine, dankness, nice spruce character, clean malt base. This is fantastic.
