Description
White Stork is one of the first commercial breweries based in Bulgaria and is a gipsy brewery (a.k.a. Ghost/Pirate/Nomad/Contract Brewery what ever you say). So we don’t own our brewing equipment and we don't care. This enables us to make the best quality and variety of beers possible at the best selected breweries and be able to reinvent ourself & our beers continually. We believe in the alchemy of craft beer, so be ready to be surprised!

Growler shared with birthday boy Maakun. Happy one! Drank from styrofoam cup at squat. Looks clear tea brown/ deep amber. Hop first, very floral, tropical fruit, caramel malts, yoghurt, canned peach, mango, weed. Moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Soft creamy feel with slightly grainy unfiltered texture. Vegetal and skunky hoppy finish, softened by nectar sweetness. Nice stuff!

Growler shared thanks to sjogro. Clear dark amber with beige head. Soft tropical wood, what I guess is hibiscus, caramel, light bready, papaya, soft wet grass, some lime and grapefruit. Medium sweet and under medium bitter with a light sourness in the finish. Medium bodied.

Thanks Ban! 0.33l Yeast permeating the tangerine and herbal dry hoppiness. Taste... Light tangerine/herbal notes. Dry and bitter. Soft apricot at times. Too dry, not much of an aftertaste. Eh, will rerate, has potential.

Thanks Ban! Extremely dark brown body, brownish small head. Toasty dark malts dominate the aroma. Nice, vague coffee, lacking in complexity but pleasant. Black patent malt galore, black chocolate and light tartness, roasty as f**k. Some figs. Slightly ashy, the tartness helps the drinkability. Slightly creamy. This is actually quite likable for me. A diamond in the rough.

Bottle shared thanks to Markoijelena. Hazy pale straw with small white head. Lemon, French herbs, light mineral, a it of fresh cheese, some chalk, sweat, light funk. Just medium sour. Light bodied. Pretty interesting stuff, though it’s quite weird and funky.

Bottle at Kanaal - Sofia. Cheers! Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose holds dark malts, light roast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with some burnt toast, baking cocoa, scorched earth, hints of chili. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, with continuing baking cocoa character, earthy bitterness, light ash. Mild chili heat in the aftertaste. Drinks pretty well.

On tap at Majstor za Pivo, Belgrade as Berliner peach, this should be the one. Pours cloudy golden, almost no head. Sour, dry, fruity, citrus, some peach, lactic. Light bodied. Not bad.
