Description
A modest jewel in the Luxembourgish brewing world, Brasserie Simon is both a keeper of the soul of good beer and a creative rebel. Rich in its independence, the company emphasizes the quality of its products and customer service to strengthen its Luxembourg roots.
At Brasserie Simon, we take the time: our fermentation process is still separated into two stages as we did always: a main fermentation in open vats which is followed by maturation in closed vats. A small craft brewery since 1824, Brasserie Simon is the only brewery in Luxembourg to have the latest generation open fermentation tanks guaranteeing the taste of real beers from the past.

Draft at Go Ten Cafe, Luxembourg. Clear pale straw, white head, high carbonation. Lacing clings to glass. Aroma of pils malt, hay, and something unidentifiable and very unappealing. Taste follows nose. Something very odd about this one.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Fresh floral nose with hints of grain. The beer starts very grainy and sticky. The hops are far back in the background, not too intense though. Easy to drink, lots of grain, refreshing bit grainy with only a little bit of floral and fresh hops there.

Light hazy pale golden colour, a lot of bubbles, mid-size foamy white head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Fruity nose, aroma wheat, pear, white grapes, light citrus, light coriander. Light to medium sweet and slightly sourish flavour, light fruity, coriander. Aftertaste mild sweet and sourish, spicy touch. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Overall a very mild soft-spoken witbier but has consistency.
