Description
Winning innovator on the Belgian beer market with brands such as Maes, Cristal, Desperados, Grimbergen, Affligem, Strongbow and Mort Subite.
Maes Pils volgt in 1946.

I tried this on draft. It has a yellow unclear color with a light head - as is typical for belgian witbeers. The aroma is fruity and slightly sour also like most witbeers. The flavor is a flat wheat flavor with notes of fruit.

A brown beer with no head. The aroma is fruity and a bit sour with hints of alcohol. The flavor is very fresh and of a powerful ale. It has a great sweetness and a nice bitterness. Great balance - a fantastic beer.

Clear orange-red color. Small head. Roasted aroma. Malty bocky taste. Bitter alcoholic palate. Grimbergen are definitely not my favorite brews.

Golden to amber colour, slightly hazy. Huge, dense head that dissipates rather quickly. Sweet, fruity, yeasty aroma. Sweet, warming, alcoholic, brandy-ish flavour. A bit sticky. I''d rather drink Duvel.
