Dark brown. Very coffeeish nose. Lots of milk choc...not getting coconut really but sweet stouty goodness. This is one that will get better over the course of a pint.

No surprise this was released right after merry muthafuckin christmas, and I drank it before I had a fucked up new year. Well, we always said we want EZ. Very cloudy. Hoppy, orange and grapefruit juiciness - yeah, easy duz it all right. Boyz in tha hood be loving the sweet pale malts and juicy hops. It’s not Strathcona so I can’t use the 40oz in my lap and it’s freezing my ballz reference.

On tap at Callister, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is extremely juicy, with lots of tropical fruits, citrus and resinous hops. Flavour matches accordIngly, with tons of juicy tropical fruits, citrus hops, some resins, maybe a little pine and a thin veneer of sweet malt to back. Finishes with juicy oranges and citrus hops, leaving a long impression on the palate. Nicely balanced and very drinkable. Great stuff.

On tap at Callister. Pours a dirty hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is sour, with some woody notes. Taste is pretty the same with fruity sourness. Quite dry aftertaste. Good.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color, small to no head. Aroma of lactic acid and paint thinner. Strong lemon acidity, citrus concentrate juice flavor, with puckery astringency in the final.
It’s like the first random Sour that somebody would brew, without experience; imprecise; I would drink lemon juice instead, for the vitamin C at least.

On tap at Callister, pours a murky dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of woody barrel notes upfront, with some stone fruits and funk. Flavour is bold, with a strong acidic puckering quality from the stone fruits that I assume were added to this, with moderate vinegariness and wood. Acidic and acetic on the finish, making this beer a bit difficult to drink (I need a Tums). Interesting beer but rather rough.

Draft - Soured malts. Cloudy copper gold with no head. Sour and some acidic notes. Pretty nondescript and I would have trouble picking out what they added, but a solid sour. Plum does come out in the finish.

On tap at Callister, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of lactose, espresso and cocoa, with light roast. Flavour is equal mixes of the aforementioned notes, along with a heap of coconut which ends up characterizing this. Finishes somewhat sweet, with a hint of coffee but mostly coconut. Very good.
