On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a deep brown, near black body with a tan head. Aromas of tropical fruit, juicy, rye, roast and minimal esters. Flavors are rye, spicy, light roast. Huge amarillo/tropical fruit notes. A touch more roast than I like in the style (but I like very minimal roast). I prefer this to the Pizza Port San Clemente version. Medium to light esters, bitter balance with light resin and roast in the finish. Really nice!

On tap (multiple glasses) at Blue Palms 3rd Anniversary. Pours with a clear golden hued body and a small white head that lasts for the duration. Huge citrusy notes, dank, tropical fruit, grapefruit, resin. Minimal malt aromas. Flavors are dank, papaya, citrus, and tropical fruit. All about the hops. Bitter balance, floral, bursting with flavor and aroma. Lively bubbles, dry with a medium lingering bitterness. Very tasty! Second batch is even an improvement on the first!
