Citrus and grapefruit. Really rich aroma. Golden pour without much head. Some nectarine. Bitter finish with a little oak. Simple but great, and well balanced. Can from mail order.

Draught at Gourmet Haus. Clear gold with white head that drapes down the sides with full lacing. Pine, dank and citrus aroma. Flavor is massive dank and medium-high bitterness. Watermelon in the flavor on the back half. Alcohol heat all over this makes the beer viscous with the bittering. A bit of a west coast double throwback to the late 90s.

Sampled from the tap at Aces and Ales Tenaya. Pours a deep amber brown with a brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has sweet grains and bourbon with a creamy caramel and a hint of dark grains backing. Flavor is bourbon and creamy caramel forward with toffee and a hint of chocolate supporting.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Nose brings out lots of bourbon barrels, a touch of smokiness, and light roast. Flavour reveals lots of smoky bourbon barrels, medium roast, and a touch of sweetness. Smoky, bourbony finish. Not the most complex BBA impie, but then Buffalo is indeed nice.
