An unclear dark red beer with a fine, though collapsing and lazing pinkish head. The aroma contains strong notes of blueberries - not very beer-like, but nice. The flavor is quite wheaty, and the mixture of the sourness of the maltet wheat and the blueberries doesn’t work. The wheat gives it a bit of dishwash water notes, leading to a dry wheaty end.

Make it a Wit (as stated where the inspiration comes from) exchange the maltet wheat by unmalted ditto - that would improve it. As it is, this is not my beer.

(On tap) Very unclear dark amber with a handsome, creamy, off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Vague, fruity aromas. Medium body with some light touches of fruit, but the typical banana esters are rather downplayed. Quite a decent Dunkelweizen, not exactly thrilling, but has no real flaws as such. 260106

Sampled draft at the brewpub a cold January night, where the temperature in the brewpub was no higher than 15 degrees Centigrade - and all of the staff where wearing thick sweaters.

The beer is an unclear dark orange - almost brown with a nice off-white lazing head. The aroma is very wheaty with light notes of banana, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of banana and medium notes of orangepeel, as well as lighter notes of caramel. The Skovlyst yeast also makes its presence known - if You’ve had most of their beers. I wonder if there is orange peel in this beer, as there is in their standard Weizen - but anyways, this is much better than their standard weizen.

An unclear orange-red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chewing gum - and so is the flavor, but here the chewing gum is definately raspberry gum.

(Growler 100 cl - courtesy of joergen) Unclear, reddish orange with a quite creamy and handsome head. Distinct berry aroma. Sweetish berry flavours (blackberries) and some slightly perfumy, bubble gum notes. I’m pretty sure some berry essence/juice or flavouring has been added. But overall quite fresh and accessible. Base beer is a wheat. 271105

A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of peaches and rosehips as well as hints of alcohol - somewhat artificial. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, peach, honey, as well as hints of chewing gum. The end is dry and the mouthfeel somewhat sticky.

An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is just like a chewing gum, from when I was a kid, with slight notes of cloves and pineapple added. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chewing gum, but also cloves, apples, and hints of pineapple, and the body is even thin.

(On tap) Beautiful, dark amber golden. Pours clear with a small, off-white head. Light spicy, almost herbal aroma - ginger? Rather light-bodied. Flavour with a weak touch of caramel and again some herbal/medicinal notes. Perhaps it really isn’t ginger but rather the added cardamom?? Also contains vanilla and molasses. Light bitter finish. Another truly original brew from Skovlyst - if you prefer the positive interpretation. 120705

(On tap) Pale golden, slightly hazy without much head. Rather thin body but comes with a solid hop bite from good aroma hops. Very refreshing as a spring-/summer beer. I cannot really detect any honey, at least it doesn’t leave any sweetness. 110405

(On tap) Very orangey amber with the tiniest, wee, off-white head. Fruity, slightly hoppy nose. Extremely fruity notes, appears as if this has some sort of fruit syrup added. Otherwise the ale-yeast has really been working overtime. Quite dry and yeasty - although filtered. Discreet bitterness. The alcohol is deceivingly well hidden. 030805
