Rocky white head stayed on an unclear light amber coloured still body. Tobacco & cardboard aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a lively back. Malt, tobacco, fruity & herbal tastes with a big tea hit on the finish. Different - like it.

Keg at the Craft beer shop, Little Chalfont, Bucks. A brown/cola looking beer with a very thin beige head on top. Caramel, honey, rum & raisin aroma and taste. Pleasant enough stout but not overly complex for 12%.

Can shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours unclear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds white grape gummies. Medium sweet with more gummies, white grapes, peach, melon, low bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet gummy citrus finish. OK overall.

Can ordered from Elusive brewery. Aroma of mocha over a honey sweet base. Dark. Solid. Cola brown in the light. Creamy beige head. Initial impressions of the flavour are sweetness followed by a sour edge. Underlying mocha bitterness. The honey and a floweriness then really come through but the bitterness does not sway so they are more in the undertow. As it warms up the honey and mocha combine for a praline effect. A boozey edge. Medium bodied. Creamy. Almost gloopy. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Good stuff indeed. Despite the heather being a headliner it's not too evident... although that may well just be me missing the obvious. But that's an irrelevance really, this is a lovely smooth Impy. Works well as a follow-up to the more bitter example that preceded it.
