Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.
The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

330ml can. Hazy, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, juicy, (tropical) fruity aroma, notes of mango, passion fruit, blueberry, hints of strawberry, a minimally sweaty, resinous touch. Taste is sweet caramel malty, bitter and slightly fruity hoppy, some resin, rather unspecific fruitiness, some warming alcohol; full body, oily texture, smooth and soft palate, alleviating carbonation.

33cl can from the brewery. A rather murky amber pour with a tight cream coloured head; the aroma is mainly caramel with some malts in the background; the taste is very sweet, with some stewed apple and a pleasant malty base; for afters there are some stewed prunes and a hint of warmth from the cinnamon. A nice idea, but rather on the sweet side for my taste.

33cl can bought at the brewery. A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; tropical fruit aroma - mango and papaya; thick sweet and fruity in the mouth with some pineapple and grapefruit; but lacking any real finish.

33cl can from the brewery. A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma with a chalky edge; soft fruity taste of mango and guava, sweet to start, but then moving through sour to outright bitter; with a lime juice finish. Lives up to its name!

33cl can from Mad Squirrel, Chesham. An unattractive hazy amber pour with lots of floaters, lively circulation and fast fading white head; farily standard yeasty aroma with some banana esters; in the mouth the banana tastes like a cheap flavouring and the whole thing is very sweet. Not for me.

Can at home, 08/07/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is grassy, light orange peel, citric tinged straw, toasted grains, melon. Taste comprises airy malts, melon, tangerine, straw, faint breads, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with grassy hop bitterness. So so for the style ... lacks flavour and hop presence for a me.

Can: Poured an orange red with a fast dissipating white head. Aroma is like freshly made strawberry jam. Taste is forward strawberry that immediately changes to a sour mouth puckering. Berry lingering on the palate.
