Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.
The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Many thanks to Minutemat. Great floral brown nose. The beer starts floral with malty aroma. Smooth, dry with nice brown malty sugars. Very dry, smooth and mild floral and moderate bitter.

Can shared with Erzengel! A clear reddish brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of intense hoppy fruits, red malt, spruce. Taste of resinous hops, spruce, pine, red malt, nice!

Castle Tap Takeover, 14/01/17. Jack Daniels and Jim Beam barrel aged versions were available, I had the latter. Sweet creamy vanilla aroma. Deep and dark. Frothy beige head. medium bitter with an underlying sweetness. The oatmeal is at front and centre, before the whisky comes through. Medium bodied. Creamy. A long warming finish. I want to try the standard version but the Jim Beam barrel aged is a lovely drink.
