Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Keg @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Hazy light amber with a thin head and plenty of peach in its aroma, as well as lots in its taste. It has a tangy dry light sour finish.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours a misty orange, solid white head. Aroma is fruitier than expected with hops rising above any Earl Grey present. Continues to taste with a smooth fruity citric orange character, although I can’t quite detect the Earl Grey unfortunately.

Cask at the Plasterers Arms, Norwich, 16/02/17. Lightly hazed amber with a decent off white head. Nose is toffee, spice, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises biscuit malt, figs, fruit loaf, light spice, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Decent enough bitter.

Keg tap at the Old Bicycle Shop. Dark black with what would be a purplish hue, if indeed hues existed in this darkness. Chocolate milk with a hint of star anise in the scent. Taste has a sweet lactic note competing with blackberry sour. Some roast malt in the long sourish finish. I like Wild Weather’s beers but I found this to be really messy. So A- for ingenuity and C for cohesion.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours a hazy orange, frothy off-white head. Vibrant discint aroma of peach bursting out the glass. Taste backs up this forecast, with a welcome crisp, lightly bristling sour edge and peach-lead character that survives til the end. Good.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours a hazy gold, large white head. Aroma has light lime leaf, although this seems to disappear in the taste. Tends towards a bitter hop character, with some grapefruit and mild mango, but its bitter tendencies tend to be a bit aggressive.
