Winding down the work day with a beer. Really beat myself up this morning at hockey.

Nice pumpkin beer. Maple syrup and vanilla. Dedicating this to George Romero's Night of the Living Dead and to ROO Cypher: Third Party Voter

New Trail have been disappointing of late. Maybe it's because the quality in which I'm drinking is a tier or two above NT. Go Sixers.

16 ounce can. Opaque black color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma hints at dark chocolate and burnt sugar. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor has strong chocolate notes. Warming alcohol in middle. Some dark dried fruit and treacle notes as well. Sticky mouthfeel. Overly sweet. A bit lacking in complexity and substance.

Feel like New Trail are hit and miss of late, or I'm just drinking better beers consistently. Finish on this is waaaaay too sweet. We had a bird infiltrate RBS today and took six hours until I was able to catch the creature.

Bit sweet for me at the start, though as it warmed, became a tad hoppy. Making dinner beer. Feel like a Spaniard 🇪🇦 with such a late dinner.
