Description
In 2015, Hubbard’s Cave was developed as an alternative to our Belgian Style Ales. Producing American Style ales, primarily imperial stouts and Hubbard’s Cave signature Fresh IIPAs, Hubbard’s Cave is a refreshing addition to the Une Anneé Family. Named after the Chicago Hubbard Street traffic tunnel on Interstate 90/94, next to where the brewery was born, Hubbard’s Cave has quickly grown to produce some of our most popular offerings.

Aromas are a subdued blend of spice, caramel, pale malt, and bit of floral. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, sweet up front with some unbalanced bitter in the back. Don't really pick up the vanilla, ginger nutmeg or cinnamon. Let me take a tiny bit of that back because in the finish I do pick up some spice that might be one of those but it's very mild.

Draught @ Beer Run Harlem. Opaque dark brown with a foamy tan head, woodsy mocha aroma, adequate carbonation, sweet mocha taste with sharp woodsy flavor and vanilla, thick body, long woodsy sweet mocha finish. A bit too sweet.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong vanilla, wood, bourbon, cocoa, roast. Slick body, marshmallow fluff, roast, boozy, wood, very nice.
