16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/15/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 1 finger dense and rocky cream colored head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, spruce tips, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, spruce tips, and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, spruce tips, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, spruce tips, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, spruce tips, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome red IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, spruce tips, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Feels like a lot of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops/spruce; with a great balancing malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding spiced style example. Not overdone on the spruce at all, melds perfectly with the hop profile.

Sample at Platform for the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/12/2018. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, chocolate and spice. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate, spice and coffee. The finish is chocolatey with a spice and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can thanks to Rob. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and pine. Slick body, juicy, pineapple, melon, lingering bitterness, very good.

Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with toasty malts and golden fruit. The flavor was sweet with toasted caramel, golden fruit, bread, molasses and a bit of alcohol. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a small foamy beige head that left very good lacing. The aroma was coffee, raspberry and toasty malts. The flavor was tart raspberry, toasty malts, coffee, chocolate and anise. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

From the start this stuff comes across as rather perfumy and cloying. Its a pounder can. Falling fruit; you mean like when its on the ground, off the branch, fermenting with menacing yellah-jackets all round? Even the nose, when you pop it, is mildly perfume sweet olfactory. Look, I make my own apple cider sometimes and I don't think the greatest of its taste, but this is oddly like it. Except perhaps this has an artificial apricot feel about it. Needs more tart and less sweet. Hey, if you like fruit beers, you better check this out; its very unique, indeed. Man, that sweet perfumey thing really hits my tongue in the end like a bra from a perfume laden barmaid. Difficult finish.

Can. Pour us a clear light gold with a thin head. Aromas are lightly of pine with some honey sweetness and... man... wish it were more. Flavor is sweet and not hoppy. This ain’t an IPA. Sorry. Try again.

Pours very hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Slight resins near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an awesome hoppy American pale wheat ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Probably Columbus, Centennial, and Amarillo. Awesome juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Amazing summer beer.

Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, red/green/crisp apples, fruit skin/pits, pear, apricot, melon, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, pale/wheat malts, fruity/light spicy yeast, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, red/green/crisp apples, fruit skin/pits, pear, apricot, melon, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruit tang/tartness; light herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy peaches, red/green/crisp apples, fruit skin/pits, pear, apricot, melon, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, pale/wheat malts, fruity/light spicy yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spicy and tart/tangy fruit balance; with minimal astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/tangy/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. No warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is a delicious fruit beer. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, pale/wheat malts, fruity/light spicy yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly tart/bitter/spicy/drying finish. Tons of authentic juicy fruits with balanced pale/wheat malts and American wheat yeast; with light earthy hop bitter balance. Not overdone on any aspect. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
