Bottle split with Reubs and Dorthe at Peders bar CPH, Arkane TTO, 19/11/22. Black with a fast escaping tan head. Nose is chocolate, pistachio, refined barrel, dark malts, bourbon, dried red berries. Taste comprises chocolate dipped cherries, toffee fudge, bourbon, spice, sweet malts, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost cloaked with well tempered bourbon. Solid BA impy.

Keg at Peders bar CPH, Arkane TTO, 19/11/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with an off white crown that dissipates edgewards. Nose is bitter sweet melon, grape juice, mango flesh, herb, damp cloth. Taste comprises balsa wood, bitter sweet tropical fruits, lychee, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering edge. Not bad ... probs the best of the Arkane sours I tried this day.

Keg at Peders bar CPH, Arkane TTO, 19/11/22. Hazed golden orange with a just off white head that clears to a swirl. Nose is juicy citric flesh, pine needle, grass, melon, orange pith. Taste comprises grapefruit, grass, pine resin, light dank kiss, papaya, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Decent enough DIPA.

Taste comprises melon, pine needle, grass, papaya, light hop spice, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spliced with light juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Not bad.

Taste comprises pineapple chunks, straw, faint coffee notes, tangy bittersweet fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge. Again ... it's just 'okay' ... a theme of these Arkane sours.

Taste comprises pumpkin bread, spice, light sugars, candied orange peel, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tangy edge. Okay sour but again not one I'd want a whole lot of.

Taste comprises more watermelon, light acidic whisper, balsa wood, damp straw, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering climax. Decent refresher if a touch 1D.

Bottle sample at a Yana's tasting at Dima's place. Black. Cherry, pistachio, chocolate, sweet and a bit sourish, full-bodied. Really good.
