Another one of those "how have I never rated this" beers. 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy head that fades quickly. Aroma of intense orange with a bit of earthiness. The taste is orange, pale malts, very faint hops. Thin and watery. Meh.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent amber with no head. Aroma is mixed ginger and strawberry. Med body. A bit fizzy. Flavor is clearly strawberry - almost fresh - followed by some nice mildly spicy ginger. The malt is subdued. Very refreshing beer.

12oz bottle picked up at Wilburs in CO
Clear golden with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of plastic and fruit extract. Flavors of fruit, sour and herbal
I didn’t like it. I was going to footbalm it but my wife like it and finished it.

Bottle. This beer pours a hazy amber with a decent sudsy head and very little aroma. A little dish soap and honey is about it. Flavor is interesting, but not at all what I was expecting. It’s definitely spicy... kind of a zing to it that is almost like coriander or maybe even fennel. It holds a fair amount of sweetness and is a little bit sticky on the palate. Finish is spicy with a little residual sweetness.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dry, minty, herbal, a bit earthy and had a piney presence. The flavor was tart and tangy mint, perfume, herbal hosp and faint citrus. Medium length tart and tangy min and perfume finish. Medium body. Ok.

the devil on a sunday. from a bottle garnered from vintage. clean smell, somewhat volatile. nice thik creamy head. fades to a cloudy pale looking thing. first taste is rather alky. comes across like medicine. seems like much more than 7%. aroma goes somewhat metallic. I know buffalo for the milder beers, somewhat surprising. nasty nellie from the pirates. for a strong beer, it does have decent carbonation sizzle. overall, not impressed

Bottle. Smells like bile.... I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to drink this one. I’m a mom who raised two boys, and I learned to handle mud, worms, blood, poop, and some other gross things, but I never learned to handle vomit. My husband always had to handle that particular clean up duty. Slightly hazy honey gold with a small off-white head. Thanks to the smell I was only able to handle a few sips which were sour-bile-maybe strawberry flavor. All I could think about was the time when one of the boys was in jr. high and threw up his strawberry oatmeal after running a cross country meet. I tried to be objective, but this was obviously impossible and a drain pour for me.

Bottle. Tangy orange aroma. Hazy straw gold with a moderate white head. Orange and oily orange peel flavor. Light body, lively carbonation. Not a great beer, but I sort of liked the orange oil flavor, and I’ve had a whole lot worse.
