Chocolate syrup, peanut butter, graham cracker malt, and hay aroma. Black with small, short lasting brown head. Moderately sweet chocolate, peanut butter, biscuit malt, and minimally bitter hay flavor. Good body - not in the least bit cloying. Nice - a Reese's peanut butter cup in a glass.

Banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet orange/banana, clove, wheat malt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. A decent Hefeweizen - malt flavor on the light side.

Draft at J's. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers, then dissipates. Big tropical fruit forward nose with mango and citrus dominating. Sweet on the palate with melon, peach notes. Light astringency. Really nice a well done, although a touch sweeter than I like. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lunch Time on 22 Nov 2018 at 16:18 - Score: 7. Growler: Nearly black with a soapy beige head. Chocolate, tobacco aroma. Taste is chocolate malt with a touch of molasses and anise. Some weedy/grassy bittering. Feels a bit watery and washed out..... OK.

On tap at Akasha, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is pretty light for the style, with toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bready malt and light caramel. Lacking body and character, but it's pleasant enough. Okay.

On tap at Akasha, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with cereal grains and toasted malt. Pretty standard stuff, but brewed competently. Decent.
