Tap @ de Zwaan, Dworp, medium sample. Hazy golden color, big rocky head. Aroma of flowery hop, some citrus, slight spicy yeast which is only present in the background. Medium bitter in taste. Wonderfully balanced actually, smooth, easy to drink. The hops combine nicely with the belgian yeast. Good complexity.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow color, medium sized a bit fizzy white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly sweet, some herbs and spices, some fruitpeel and slightly bitter. Quite nicely balanced once you let the carbonation diminish a bit.

Draught at CBB. Bright yellow, almost pastel, though not so deep, lightly cloudy. Nose of citrus fruit, some spice, wheat, very fruity. Light, fruity flavor, lots of citrus. Wheat, nicely bitter finish. Perfect carbonation give substance to the lightness. Great hops. Great flavor for a 4.4 beer. Perfect summer session beer.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Hazy copper-amber color, with generous fluffy head. Light aroma of malt, coriander, fruits and rubber. Good body strength, some malt flavor, some spiciness from the yeast, light caramel; it has some fermentation byproducts, mainly evident in the rubber presence; moderate residual sweetness; ordinary bitterness.
Simple.

650 yen for a half pint at the CBB Saison Fair. It poured a very light gold with a thin foamy head. The aroma was spicy and a bit dank. The flavor was crisp dry, bitter in the middle and very refreshing. I’d definitely have this again.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Fresh citric and lemony aroma with a delicately grainy malty touch, backed by spicy Belgian yeast. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Rather dry pale malt-character with wheaty and citrus-fruity notes, accompanied by herbal hoppy spice; dry and slim, also moderately bitter hoppy and yeasty finish. Smells good, while the taste is rather unexciting. 10.IV.13
