Pours a clear yellow beer with a fine laced white head. Smells a little smokey (?) and citrus. Mouthfeeling is kind of flat. The keynote is citrus, with a fresh and hoppy aftertaste.

Clear yellow beer, small white creamy head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: little cheesy, sweaty feet, some citrus, yeast, some chloride. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, grapefruit, bitter lemon peel, grassy hops. Aftertaste: bit cheesy, bitter grassy hops, grapefruit, dry ending. Very good beer.

Had this at the Pittsburgh Great European Beer Festival at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium 6/2010. Such a nice beer friendly place! Typical belgy nose, clean and fresh. Looks like pale lager. Thin creamy head. Some belgy like hay flavors, comes across almost refined. Easy to like. Some taste of rubber in there. Bitter at the end. OK, but could use a few manners. Not really in the same league as orval but much better than most of the US imitations.

Hazy lemony colour. Fresh citrusy aroma. Flavour is very citrusy with a drier slightly hoppy bitter finish. A bit thin and watery though.

Fast gone yellow head over faintly hazed pale amber beer. Caramel, greenery, some arachide. Malt, toasted malts, soem sweetness with just a little (milk)chocolate, parsley. Ever so slightly burning MF, quite carbonated, slick. Rather little "other grain" character. Quite easy-drinking for its not unimportant ABV. Bit dangerous to be considered as a "quaffing ale".

Hazy amber with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, soap, lavendar and peach. Flavour likewise. Slight alco burn towards the medium dry finish.
