Description
It all started with a humble homebrew kit and the drive to make better beer. Tired of the same bland and dated choices everywhere, Air Force friends Eric Wallace and Dick Doore set out to make the kind of beer that excited them; beer they wanted to drink. A hobby quickly became an obsession and it wasn't long before Left Hand Brewing opened for business on January 22, 1994. Left Hand has steadily increased its production, making the Brewers Association’s Top 50 Craft Brewers list in 2012.

Clear pale blond colour with fluffy head. It's a grainy, malty Pils. Perhaps closer to a plain lager actually. Misses a Noble, old world bitterness.

Bottle, drunk with a chocolate cake watching Fallout. Black with a tan head about two centimeters tall. Roasted goodness, super smooth, rich full bodied sweet roasted coffee/cacao flavor. It would be truly excellent if not for the unnecessary lactose, argh. Still pretty tasty.

Bottle/Fest. A- Coriander. A- Pale yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Coriander, watery. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, unbalanced finish. O- This was overloaded with the coriander and the orange barely peeked through. The nitro serves so purpose and would be a much improved beer without it.

16oz can. Nitro really doesn't work here at all. Tastes like foam. Faded, distant flavors, I don't really get any mango or guava. Bland, sweet, mild. Different. Not good.

Lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy pale yellow with nice white head. Mildly sweet lemon, coriander, wheat malt, mildly sour citric acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.
