Can 440ml @ home
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is metallic with lots of coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long coffee, roasted malt and light milk chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

My first Australian saison? Really tasty though the coffee, wattles, and Tazzie pepper honestly don’t add a tonne to the mix. Maybe the shelflife subdued that? Really nice regardless. “Eric’s mind is darker.”

From a 440ml can on 10/10/2020 (shared with Butz). Pours a clear light to medium golden with a medium head. Has a really intense lime and citrus peel nose. The flavour features the promised mandarin for sweetness, countered by a huge, zesty lime/peel bitterness which coats the tongue and lingers. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. This is a really intense citric experience, very interesting and full of character, if not quite a home run.

From a 440ml can on 3/9/2020. Pours a deep brown with a medium tan head. Has quite a strong and distinct caramel aroma. Tastes of chocolate and caramel with a touch of salt and the sharpish bitterness kicks in. The texture is syrupy, the carbonation moderate. A more than decent dessert stout without having quite the same charm as the Cherry On Top or original versions.

From a 440ml can on 26/7/2020. Pours a deep brown with a smallish head which disappears almost immediately. The nose is lovely - lots of choc-cherry with a good dash of coconut. That's what you get in the flavour as well - it's like someone has mixed a bunch of Cherry Ripes and Bounty bars and squeezed them in to a glass. Probably drinks a bit smaller than 8%. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. A truly excellent and delicious dessert stout. Well done Nomad.

(Can) Pours very dark brown with red hint and no head. Appealing aroma predominantly coconut with notes of cream and tangy fruit and a hint of chocolate. Full bodied, smooth, creamy with fine bright carbonation. Awesome taste - coconut, cherries, cream, chocolate, maybe some toffee, and a bite of alcohol in the finish. Very unusual, very tasty, very very drinkable.

330ml can picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. A big white head over a bright golden body, clingy lacing. Inviting smell of ripe tropical fruits. Fresh fruity taste of lemony hops added by a touch of lime. Ends fruity with discreet bitterness. Easy to drink. Refreshing session qualities. (Tromsø 14.06.2020).
