Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has some sweetness, dark malt, bread, nuts, chocolate, light grass and spice. Taste is very bready and moderately sweet but other notes are more subtle - some light roast malt, caramel, floral hop tingle. Medium bodied, moderate fine carbonation. Despite there being no surprises here it goes down well, its sessionable and a good example of the style.

Bottle from HOTM. Cleat amber with small white head. Aroma is very malty with bread, caramel, straw, some nuttiness and a fusty hop. Taste has a light roasty malt character with bread, caramel, some dried fruits, spice. Quite a grassy bitterness in the finish with some sticky malt and sugar remnants on the palate. Not overly complex but it has a nice balance and alcohol warmth that runs through on repeated sips.

Bottle (5.2%) from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 5 months past BBE. Slightly murky gold with hint of amber, moderate white head. Pleasant if straightforward aroma of banana, grains, hint of caramel, sweetness. Taste as above but with a nice gentle but long bitterness running through and spice notes. Nice mouthfeel to it being smooth with fine carbonation. Solid.

Rubia dorada transparente y limpia, dedo y medio de espuma blanca bien conservada. Olorcillo a grano, cereal, malta, se asoma cierta nota herbal. Bottled 500ml. -from Heiloo Getränke Leipzig, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, floral and light buttery nose. Sweet malty, floral, buttery and subdued grainy with sweetish finish.

0.5l bottle that Ogi got from Leipzig and shared with Hrabren & me. Crystal clear pale golden body, off-white head. The first whiff was a weird sweet buttery thing leaning on corn, but that somehow disappeared, leaving some metallic notes and a lemony hoppiness. Big carbonation on an otherwise low, empty body, ending dryyyy, with the main note being cardboard, maybe some hop. Erm... weird, I mean, maybe it's better fresh?

0.5 l bottle thanks to Ogi, shared with Marko and him. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly malty, grainy, caramely, candy and buttery. Light body, moderate carbonation. Too sweet. Flavour is sweet grainy, floral, candy. Light abrupt sweetish finish.
