Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, and straw, as well as light notes of metal from the alcohol. The finish is bitter.

500 mL bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a light amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Very weak aroma of grassy hops and a light graininess. Taste is very similar.... grassy slightly bitter hop notes with faint notes of toasted grain and caramel. Very thin and watery. Not a good mouthfeel at all, which is a shame as it’s otherwise fairly solid.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt as well as lighter notes of yeast and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, as well as lighter notes of bread and metal, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish, where the straw note lingers.

Can, shared by Papsoe. It pours a clear, almost golden body with a thin layer of white bubbles on top. Citrusy, slightly buttery nose with some pale malts. Citrus, some hops and pale malt in the flavor too. Short, citrusy finish. Thin body. A boring but quenching beer. (090514)

Draft. Amber with a nice creamy eggshell head. Light citrus nose, crackery malts. Odd berry like fruitiness; not unpleasant but unexpected. Strangely sweet, could use more hop crispness. Medium palate.
