A nice schwarzbier. I am surprised I havn’t already rated this. Very dark brown color, with roasted malt and some oak. Flavor is more roasted grain, light hops, some caramel and a little wood. Very drinkable with good palate. I thought it was more of a dunkel than a schwarzbier.

Golden with full lasting white head. Typical Czeck aroma - hayish, grassy & hoppy. Light thin mouthfeel - very pleasant allround though - light hops & malts. Short bitter end. OK

500ml bottle - Pours dark brown with a sweet chocolate and roast malt aroma and a medium sized, fading head. It has a sweet, roast flavor with maybe a little of the chocolate note coming through. It’s smooth and goes down easy. This medium bodied brew is good but not great.

Draft. Dark brown beer with a big tan head. Toffee/malt aroma. Toffee, malt flavor that ends a bit weak. Easy drinking. LIngering malt. Medium-light body.

One of my favourite everyday-beers in the Czech Republic. Malty aroma, malty taste. Only 3,8% ABV, but with full flavours.

Golden yello, consistent head. Full-bodied and malty, slightly hoppy. Not a heavy brew, but full of flavour.

Beautiful amber colour with large head. On the label it says extra horky, it is meant to be extra bitter. I think it is not bitter, it is a lovelly malty and full-bodied lager with slightly dray and hopy finish.

Bottled. Clear golden, dense head. Medium sweet. Some grainy malt acompanied by very light oily hops. salty finish with long bitterness. With it’s coarse malt character and hard mouthfeel it’s a rather dumbed down Czech lager.
