Bottle. Golden beer with a small, white head. Aroma is mostly malty, with some grainy notes. Malty flavor with some alcohol-notes and bitterness to finish it off. Rating: 4-3-4-2-9-2.2. 051116
Can. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a finger thick white head leaving lacings. Some malts and diacetyl in the rather boring aroma, but also quite plesasant. There’s a little fruityness as well. A decent bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end, with fruityness and a malty backdrop. Medium body, quite dry. A pretty decent and quenching one. 130607

Bottle: Almost dark golden coloured, mid-sized lacing fluffy head; sweetish malty, a bit grainy nose with traces of alcohol; initial sweetish malty taste, moderate bitter flavour, short, not very dry bitter-malty finish; the quite full malty body lacks a counterpart on the bitter-aromatic side, but all in all a quite decent beer, pleasant. Not the worst copy of a PRAZDROJ and far better than the most german "Pilseners"...........

Bottled. "Born on" area with no printed date. Pours big frothy head that diminishes quickly.Yellow pilsner color with a slightly reddiish tinge. Big beery, possibly skunky smell. Good pils malt taste with the usual Czech bitterness makes this pretty nice. Still, not that fresh, but of course it’s an import bottle from the display cooler of a corner liquor store. Having had a fresh Budvar on tap in Europe, I know what this beer ought to have been. I got it thinking "imperial" might have meant more alcohol, but no, it’s the old "by royal appointment."

Bottled: Dark amber coloured, fluffy brownish head, longer lasting; thin (roasted) malty nose with some traces of caramel; malty sweetness in the beginning, sweetish malty flavour drying out in a thin bitter-sweet finish with some traces of chocolate; thin bodied: drink this black beer and You can’t fail to notice, that the former premium brewery Krusovice is now a part of the german Radeberger-group......

(Bottle 50 cl) Yet another Krusovice lager. ery dark golden, almost brownish - not much head though. Slightly malty, slightly bitter but somehow lacking some character. 030804

(Bottle 50 cl) Very soft with lots of malty accents and a nice hoppy aroma. A very well-made pilsener.

(Bottle 50 cl) Of course also Krusovice had to have a lighter version of it’s Premium. Not much to say: watery, bitterish, easy-to-drink. That’s it.
