Aroma: The nose has some spice, Belgian yeast, fruity notes, hop notes, and a little pale malt
Appearance: It pours a golden-orange color with a fairly small head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor, as you might expect, is a mix of the Belgian flavors/spice, the fruit, and the hops
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with a decent mouthfeel, and lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent Belgian Pale. Though it doesn't blow you out of the water, I liked it. Solid stuff.

Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh, wheat, citrus, fresh hops, hay, leafs, citrus peel. Taste is slightly dry, light malts, hops, citrus peel, newly cut lawn, leafs, soil. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, a little boring.

Free tasting at Whole foods and I got a sticker yippee. Pours orange brown with nice little head. Nose of lemons and spice. tastes refreshing of pine, white pepper, light malt, earth, floral, and plenty of lemony citrus to finish you off. decent

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Clear amber. Aroma of hops, pretty "green", with grass, marijuana and a bit of citrus. Pleasant hoppy flavor, very "green", with great refreshing bitterness with a bit of grapefruity and piney hints and a light malt sweetness. Medium-bodied. Very nice and quaffable.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wood, alcohol, some bourbon, mild nectary and honeyish notes. Flavour is alcohol, wood, floral and some mild vanilla and bourbon sweetness.

Bottle 120 of 300 from New Beer. Pours reddish brown with off white head. Nose and taste of candied fruit, big bourbon, dried splintered wood and caramel toffee malt. Lighter than medium body.

Aroma: It is pretty roasty, with some nice hop notes as well, with chocolate, coffee, and pine
Appearance: Pours an almost black color with a tan head that leaves a good amount of lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, lots of roasted and malty flavors with a medium pine hop bitterness
Palate: This one had a smooth, creamy cask feel, a medium body, and a medium dry finish to it
Overall Impression: You gotta love any name that describes a beer is both Black and Pale and does so un-ironically (for some reason Black Pale Ale seems much sillier than Black IPA, don't ask me why). Anyway, I thought this was a really nice one.

20 oz draft pour at Madison Square Garden. The pour is golden orange, with a smallish light tan head. The aroma is soft cracker malt, along with some grassy floral hops. Subdued, though clean nose. The taste is the nose, subdued balance between the cracker malt, and the grassy floral hops. Taste is also clean, and reserved. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a clean finish. Easy drinking beer, went well with the Big East tournament.
