My new country. Sowiecka jakosc, slabe wodniste, sztuczne o plastikowym zapachu jasne, dziwnie musujace, z mizerna grubo ziarnista piana. sztuczno slodkawy posmak pierogow z serem lub leniwych.

500ml on tap at Public Pub in Dushanbe. Pours foggy amber with a tall off-white head. Aroma is caramel, bready, malt. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, yeast. Light bitter finish. Light bodied.

500ml on tap at Bavaria House in Dushanbe. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is slightly buttery, pale malt, slightly bready. Taste is light sweet, malt, butterscotch, grain. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. Actually quite decent in the context of Tajikistan and decent in the hot weather. Tried it a day later at a different location and it was quite different — more herbal and grassy.

Praise be to Arvid for this sample. Pours unclear misty gold, loose bubbles atop. A bit rough this, weak bodied, some wet cardboard and mild solvent. The brewery also does a line in chipsticks, which may or may not taste better. Still.. ATAT.

Sample from Eric. A bit murky golden, smaller white head. A bit bready and honey-like nose, sweet rubbery feeling. Mild start, just a hint of bitterness perhaps, some minimal sweetness, vegetables. Mild aftertaste. Nothing special, not really unpleasant, but not good either.
