Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy in between amber and ruby. Thick frothy beige head. Taste: Pretty flat caramel malty, some notes of orange / mandarin and some hopbitterness. Strong bittery palate at finish. Medium to below medium body, just below average carbonation I expected a lot more from this beer and more bitterness. Nice bottle though. Disappointing beer.

Bottle shared at THT January (Platypus Edition). Bit hazy reddish brown with beige head. Quite herbal, condensed milk, sweet malts, light plums, I do get some light red wine but it’s more milky and herbal. Medium sweet and bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with dry finish.

At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, cloudy murky deepish brown color, aroma of mint bubblegum and licorice with a cinamon hint, flavor of mint, caraway, shrubs and maybe dark fruits, hint of celeric. the herbs completley overpowering the the malt, medium sweetness. Intriguing but not really good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Lots of licorice and spearmint bubblegum, caramel, bubblegum, yeast, alcohol, sdweet and spicy, medium-bodied. Weird, really not my thing.

Tap @ bierfestival Oirschot. Scored a bit of someone who didn’t like it but payed 2 tokens for it anyway. Dark brown to black colour, no head. Smells liquorice and sweet. Tastes Engelse drop, coconut, liquorice, slightly minty. Full body, soft carbo. Wouldn’t like to drink a 750 ml bottle on my own, but it’s a decent beer.
