[ As Barlingbo Helgedomen ].Unclear matt medium amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, candy, moderate to heavy yeasty, belgium yeast, sweet yeast, fruity yeast, citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, candy, sweet yeast, caramel, belgium yeast, phenol notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150724]

Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, light to moderate yeasty, wood, light vegetables. (Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 26 Sep 2015) Black colour with brief head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, black coffee and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 25 Sep 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, dried fruit and some toast. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, orange, a touch of toast and a gentle citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Decent, but doesn’t really stand out. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle (thanks finol). Can’t say wheter this Gotlandsdricke is true to style or not. Mild in all aspects. Yeasty, sweet and fruity.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber beer with a beige head. Malty caramel aroma with toffee, raisins and some figs. Malty bready flavor with spicy, yeast notes, caramel, raisins and some figs. A little too sweet.

Bottle bought in Gotland. (thanks Jonas) A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of bread, citrus and some grass. Similar taste. The body was light and the finish medium bitter. Easy to drink. Drinkable.
