Some roast and some nut. Hint of caramel. Black pour with good head and lacing. Quite a lot of smoke. Finish a little cloying. Tap at Smokehouse in Chisinau.

26-OCT-2017. TAP at Craft Baza. 2017 version at 6,5% abv. Murky red-brown, small off-white head. Smells like still fermenting pumpkin, pumpkin spice - not very spicy though - just some nutmeg and ginger maybe. It has little pumpkin ale character - much less so than last two years - but still some spicy pumpkin sweetness is there. Other than that it is kinda like a generic red ale with little malț character and some winy tannic finish, which makes it a bit weird but more drinkable. OK. 6-3-6-3-13=3,1





7-NOV-2016. TAP from the brewery. Almost clear ruby red, small tan head. Sweet caramel candyish nose with subtle pumpkin and ginger. The other spices are even more subdued. A bit yeasty. The taste is a good balance between malt sweetness, slightly peppery spice and some harsher winy tannic notes the work well here. 6-4-6-4-13=3,3.

tap @ hopaholic (budapest) golden colour, normal body, average carbonated, hoppy, fruit and a flower aroma, easy to drink

Tap @ Hopaholic, Budapest. Nice head with good suration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, fruits, malt and flowers. Light bitter finish.

Tap @ Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee and hops. Dry roasty finish.

PET/TAP. The aroma starts with vague malts and traces if hops, as well as loads if butter. After a while it clears up, and starts to feel like slightly sweetened green or herbal tea. The taste us much cleaner - subtle malts and a sturdy but not excessive zesty bitterness. Not bad for a 4% abv beer, but the diacetyl just kills it.

On tap. Slightly hazy orange body, white head. Aroma and taste of honey, bubble gum, pine and peach. Nice, fruity beer, but nothing extraordinary.

DØE. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 200516

DØE. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light fruity and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 190516
