From a 375ml can on 20/4/2024. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. Has a fruity nose with some light resin. Tastes of citrus, with some herbal notes, followed by a pretty big, lingering hop bitterness that's primarily resiny with a touch of pine. The mouthfeel syrupy and lightly oily, with average carbonation. Pretty solid and has a bit of the classic American character to it.

Can. Pkd late April. Clear pale amber with a loose cm of white head. Brooding peach, nectarine and pine aroma with light bread. A bit more than medium bodied. Sweet with mango skin and feijoa joining the stone fruit. A little boiled lolly-like. Resin builds to a strongly bitter finish. No obvious alcohol. Slightly modernised early 2000s style IIPA.

Can. Moderately hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit and orange. with just a little mango and some crackers underneath. More tropical in taste though. Slightly chalky too although when a little pine and moderate bitterness kick in it doesn't matter much.

Another Canvent 2020 special. Pale gold. A hint of passionfruit yoghurt on nose. Very, very standard kettle sour. Lactic rather than wild and altogether pretty dull.

Can. Deep orange. Mild biscuit nose. Slightly creamy and effervescent. Caramel and biscuit nastiness, with some residual bitterness. All a bit too mild and restrained for me.

Can. Gold with a loose inch of white head. A: citrus, pine, some mango, hay, a lick or caramel. Quite sweet with plainish pale malt and no obvious yeast character. More tropical fruit and a bit of marijuana join the citrus and pine. The texture is light and a little resinous towards the fairly bitter end. Good. Offers nothing new, but I guess it's not trying to.
