Fairly sloppy imperial porter, cloying and fruity with only a faint swipe of the titular ingredient. Syrupy chocolate heavily accented with cherry and raisin notes, hampered by an underlying cola-like sweetness and a medicinal bitterness on the back end. Unwanted tartness adds an old coffee backbone, while the peanut butter is much too subtle to add nutty balance to the sweet front. Pours a thick brown-black with a slight beige head and no lace. Some chocolate on the nose, not much else. Good mouthfeel, heavy and lacking any boozy heat. Overall not an enjoyable pint.

Can from Beer Republic, 12 oz sample. Hazy brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of some toffee and grassy hop. Bit sweet in taste, some grassy bitterness. Nothing spectacular, but I expected much worse judging by the average score. Tasty.

Can @ home shared with Inoven and TomHendriksen. Clear orange golden color, medium to full sized white to off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, huge hops, piney spruce. Tastes about the same: malts, hops, pine, spruce, slightly tropical fruit hoppy and nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice!

Can 35ml (Beer Republic, canned 06/01/2017)
Murky orange colour, small off-white head. Vegetably jalapeño aroma with barley grain notes. Medium to full bodied. Mango puree, vegetably jalapeño attached to the flavour. Some burn in the finish. Not a match made in heaven. Sweetish, hides its ABV welll.
