Description
Beer is our craft, but Drekker is about more than the contents of a glass. It’s about what happens when a few of those glasses get raised together. It’s about doing what you want to do, in a cool place, with people you want to be with. Drekker is about you after all. We love that you’d care enough to join us, and we can’t wait to see where this voyage goes when a couple more beers get raised together. Valhalla can wait.
We started as many breweries do; just a couple of friends brewing in a garage who loved great beer, had a crazy dream, and worked their asses off to make it come true. We won’t bore you with some long, meandering story about how we all met, or how the stars aligned for the brewery to come together. If you want to know the whole story, we’ll bore you with it in the taproom or just wait for the Lifetime movie to come out. Really, we’re just four regular guys who are serious about beer and not much else.

Strawberry and peach nose. Opaque orange, medium sticky head. Sweet peach, lemon. Full body, easy carbonation. White chocolate is hard to suss out, but I believe I tasted it momentarily.

16 oz can. Aroma has soft cantaloupe, mild citrus, bready malt. Flavor follows with hints of mango and I guess you could say watermelon. Shows a very little bit of herb bitterness after the sip. Good body and texture. Pretty well balanced. It’s a nice Brew.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown colored body with a semi-bubbly to mild foamy one and a half fingers of tan head which slid off quicker than I would have thought (odd); barely any lace
Aroma: peanuts and peanut butter, some saltiness, sturdy roastiness, some milk chocolate tones
Flavor: mildly sweet, roasty and some salted peanuts; super subtle aftertaste of peanuts, roastiness and milk chocolate
Texture: between light and medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; borderline watery, finishes peanutty, salty and chocolatey
Overall: though I haven't had much from Drekker, I do not believe this is one of their finer beers. That head seemed disappointing and for this kind of stout, I would have thought there would have been a heftier body.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy yellow color with some transparency about it and a two and a half fingers of white foamy head. This head slid off casually to leave some messy lace
Aroma: some sweet rice, grassy hops and clean malts.
Flavor: moderately sweet with the rice and hops balancing nicely; clean aftertaste of rice and grassy hops
Texture: light bodied, very sessionable, smooth along tongue; crisp light rice-like finish
Overall: I believe this was brewed to be a rice lager and I would say it fits as far as I know. Also, I dig the Home Alone reference.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: cardboard orange haziness with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head
Aroma: apricots and lemons, a ton of creamy pastry qualities
Flavor: intertwines the apricots and lemons - sweet, tart and sour while meshing with a clean creamy pastry smoothness; clean aftertaste of apricots and lemons
Texture: medium to full bodied, good sipper, thick creaminess coats my tongue; finishes with the lemons and apricots
Overall: nicely done pastry sour ale I would have again and would make a nice dessert ale for Spring or Summer.
