Zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of grapefruit and lemon, lemon peel, some caramel, almond, marzipan, whiffs of marmalade, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally resinous hoppy, caramel malty basis with some residual sweetness, minimally perfumed notes of lemon, grapefruit, lemon peel, hints of almond, marzipan.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Not my kind of malt composition, decent bitterness - a bit lame.

Smell of rye, metal, some hops. Copper colour, beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some earth and toffee. Lively carbon. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Good one.

330ml bottle. Jet balck colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark toffee, dark chocolate, some coffee. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, minimally sweet, caramel malty and bitter hoppy, notes of toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel and treacle.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, very soft carbonation.
Focussed, not overly complex - pretty decent.

Quite on the dark side of brown, with reddish hints if seen through light. About one and a half fingers of off-white/yellowish head, scarce retention, pretty much no lacing. Quite good intensity in a very simple, well defined, but kind of a bit "uncouth" aroma: caramel sweetness, a decent amount of nuttiness, perhaps the slightest hint of floral hops. Taste feels nicely intense for the abv, again quite well defined but very simple. A more clearly discernible floral hops presence now. Sweetness and bitterness are both pretty intense (for style and abv) and in overall very good balance, with none standing out in both taste and aftertaste. A very clean finish/aftertaste. Light to medium body, average, fine-bubbled carbonation; feels pretty easy to drink with a bit of tingling crispness. Overall: aims at taste intensity but finds an enjoyable sweet/bitter balance. Doesn't have any actual flaw, but lacks complexity or refinement.

Ruby colour, small steady beige head. Chocolaty, a bit hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Some chocolaty kind of sweetness, low bitterness, weak finish. Meh. AIH205.

AIH205. Rubyish amber colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some toasted and nutty tones with mild wooden and resiny tones to it. Flavour is dried fruits, toasted and some nutty tones with mild resin and wood to it. Clean and nice Brown Ale.
