Cask (Pivni, York) - Golden with a white head. Lemon, lime and some slightly soapy hints in the aroma. Lemon, biscuity malt and some slightly earthy notes in the taste.

Cask at the Wellington Inn, Hull. Golden brown, slightly hazy with medium head, Very weak aroma with woody notes. Taste is superior to aroma: overall sweet with sour edges leading to a lingering papery dry finish. Flawed but certainly drinkable.

Cask @ Wellington Inn, Hull. Mid to dark brown with a big head. Faint aroma of chocolate, malt and chestnuts. Big sweet dark malt hit in the taste with a sublime sweet lingering finish. Very much like a mild in character. Fantastic stuff.

Cask @ Wellington, Hull. Gold with a big Northern head. Slightly sour astringent nose with strong sandalwood notes. Taste is ok, middle of the road bittersweet. Not overly keen.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/4/2013. Deep, reddish brown with a decent, off-white head. fruity mild, with a hint of chocolate powder and gentle finish. Good.
