Canned as Imperator Ambree Ale. Appearance: clear amber with a moderate off-white head of low retention. Aroma: faint caramel, grains. Taste: lightvto medium sweet, caramel, fruity hints, light bitterness. Palate: medium body and carbonation. Overall: simple, well balanced. Not bad.

Appearance: almost clear. Bronze colour. Moderate ivory-coloured head of medium retention. Aroma: caramel, burnt sugar, treacle, distant esters. Taste: medium sweet, lots of caramel and burnt sugar, warming alcohol. Low to light bitterness. Palate: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: not fitting the style, simplistic, one-dimensional. Not bad thought.

Appearance: cloudy yellow with a large white creamy head of good retention. Aroma: banana, malt, overripe apples, a hint of clove. Taste: light sweet. Wheat bread, banana, hints of apples and clove. Very low bitterness. Flat ending. Palate: light plus body. Average to lively carbonation. Summary: a mediocre Hefeweizen.

Appearance: clear chestnut brown with a moderate ivory-coloured head of good retention. Aroma: caramel, brown sugar, esters, some chocolate. Taste: moderately sweet, caramel and toast, esters, chocolate, some hop. Hollow ending. Hoppy aftertaste. Palate: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: a basic and unpretentious Brown Ale. Decent value.

Imperial pint can. Appearance: clear gold with a moderate white frothy head of average retention. Aroma: dusty grain, restrained fruitiness, a hint of alcohol. Taste: medium sweet malts, corn, overripe fruit, alcohol, hop traces. Low to light bitterness. Palate: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: a faceless strong lager, not really a Bock.

Appearance: clear deep gold with a one finger tall white frothy head of mediocre retention. Aroma: malt, cereals, bread, slightly toasted, light diacetyl, spicy hop that is actuallly not that noble. Taste: pretty the same. Light to medium sweet, low to light bitterness. Palate: Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: nothing noble about it.

Imperial pint can. Appearance: clear gold with a moderate white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: wet grain, fruity notes, spicy hop. Taste: light sweet, grainy, sourish fruitiness, slightly toasted, spicy and grassy hop. Light bitterness. Palate: light to medium body. Average carbonation. Overall: so-so. Too fruity. Not a great hop quality.
