33cl bottle as a gift (bought at the brewery - labeled "Gubernija art drink series"). Pours hazy caramel coloured with a minimal, off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits, bread and caramel. Sweet, but surprisingly tasty. Could easily drink more of this.

33cl bottle as a gift (bought at the brewery - labeled "Gubernija art drink series"). Pours clear deep amber with off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with bready notes, rye and hints of dark fruits and some earthy notes. Sweet, caramelly and malty with a fairly light bitterness. Decent, stuff, but too sweet for me and not quite my favourite style.

33cl as a gift. Pours hazy caramel coloured brown with an off-white head. Malty and bready aroma with lots of caramel and notes of rye bread. Sweet, bready and caramrly with kvass flavours and a very modest bitterness. To sweet and a bit to much like regular kvass, but quite drinkable.

33cl bottle as a gift (bought at the brewery - labeled "Gubernija art drink series Ekstra"). Pours clear pale golden with a lasting, white head. Wow! Surprisingly buttery smell! Slightly impressive! Aroma of diacetyl with some grainy notes, with hints of ripe pears and grass. Moderate to medium sweet with buttery flavours and a light bitterness. Hardly impressive, but still somehow drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Stas. Hazy amber. Aroma of caramel, honey, paper and rye bread. Sweet flavor, caramelly, honey-ish, with a citric hint and a toasty note. Quite light-bodied. Kinda kvass-like.
