Bottled. Golden coloured with brief head. Aroma of mashed apples and syrup. Sweet and unclean with cloying sticky finish without a trace of hops.

Updated: Attractive ruby-tinged brown color, medium fading head. Lacking effervescence, it eventually sits dead in the glass after the head dies. Aroma is mostly caramelized/toffee but seemingly only a hint of melanoidin malt, perhaps a strong dose of caramel malt. Light roast character (maybe carafa for coloring?). Flavor seems initially sweet, but an herbal woody hop finish attempts to provide balance. Overall poor integration of malt and hops, the beer finishes sickly and insipid. Palate is medium, but feels chunky and weird rather than satisfying. This may work better with food (something greasy: pizza, hamburgers, chili dogs) than as a stand alone drinker.

A brown beer with no head. It has a slightly malty aroma. The flavor is very sweet - a little fruity like an ale - very light and only slightly bitter. It''s an OK beer - but a little too sweet - not enough balance because it lacks bitterness.

An amber beer with a little head. It has a slightly sour aroma. The flavor is soft of a good malt blend and slightly prickling- I cannot taste the wheat which it should be brewed on. A very good beer - I definatly want to try this again.

Sampled draught at Schiphol Aiport, Netherlands.
Chestnut brown, very little head. Mindboggingly sweet with syrupy mouthfeel and mellow body. Sugary finish.
