Bottle. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is pretty boring, weak, with roasted malts and some dried fruits. Some coffee in the flavor, with roasted malts, dark chocolate notes and some vegetable notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Lasting roasted finish. Looks great this one, but the aroma and flavor isn’t much interesting. 140608

[Trade from Cuso] Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, hint of cooked vegetable and caramel, Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Appearance: Coca cola color with a nice big frothy tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Mild hoppy, some toffee and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium (-) body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild hoppy, toffee, mild chocolate and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Hmmm decent ale but not much BIPA.
