Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is hoppy medicinal. The flavour is medium bitter with a lovely hop varnish medicinal palate. Sounds awful but not bad at all.

Bottle. Aroma is malty, touch of honey, walnut. Very lightly hazy golden colour. Quite stable white head. Taste is initially sweet, malty, honey, walnut. After a moment hops kicks in without a particularly strong flavour, but with moderate bitterness. Lightly earthy and a little bit of unpleasant soapy astringency. Mixed feelings about this one, but definitely not bad.

500 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Cave. No BBF. Pours a clear golden with a creamy, lasting semi-white head (or as well as I can tell in a basement). Nose is fruity, tangerines & sweet marmalade mixed with plenty of floral hops, bitter grass but also some toffee. Bitter upfront, grass & floral, drying hops, leading to sweetness, toffee, tangerines, candy sugar sweet & sweet fruity with a light bitter herbal quality in the back. Light & easy to drink. Not as good as the P.I.P.A but still pretty nice, unique & interesting profile + very easy to drink, great stuff I would say.

500 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Cave. BBF 14/11/2013 (mmm….). Pours a clear amber with a creamy, lasting off-white head (or as well as I can tell in a basement). Nose is pretty hoppy with lots of grass, very floral character, nettles, wild green plants coupled with some caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness. Taste is pretty drying, bitter raw & floral hops, nettles, lots of hops going into mild, toffee, caramel malts & candy sugar sweetness with a lingering bitter finish. Good carb. & easy to drink. Very different from the typical USA profile which is great, easy to drink, lovely beer which every one liked. Expected to see higher scores on here.

Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Caramel, cellary mouldy notes. Light-bodied. Caramel, grassy hoppyness, cellary notes. Well, not a stout at all.

Tap at RJ. Aroma fruity, roasted, chocolate. Stable beige head. Taste is moderately roasty, light chocolate. Very nice dark malt character, slightly similar to Guinness, but better. Light complementary fruitiness. Nicely drinkable, soft creamy mouthfeel, long roasty bitter finish. Very good
