Description

Apparently the newest beer in this series, an IPA with very thick and frothy, yellowish white, dense head and misty orange blonde colour with ochre hue. Pleasant aroma of pink grapefruit, salted tomatoes, green peppercorns, paprika, mango, lilies, caramel, bitter honey and an unusual hint of fried chicken. Fruity onset, mango, peach and grape peel, restrainedly sweetish with a sourish touch and a subtle umami quality, bit minerally, soft and smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonated, caramelly malts, a bit toasted in the end, finishing in a medium strong, resiny, sticky, herbal and grapefruit peel-like hop bitterness with a slight salty edge, lasting long and deeply bittering but not too harsh, so that some of the juicy caramelly malts creep through in the end and the last thing I get in my throat, is a peachy sweetness. Decent Dutch IPA, not unlike Brand IPA and the like but more natural, not as fragrant or powerfully bitter as most true American style IPAs, but still a very enjoyable, flawless beer altogether. Thanks to Craftmember for bringing me this bottle from Holland!
