Description
Omnipollo® is a beer production company founded by brewer Henok Fentie and artist Karl Grandin in 2010 with a shared vision of changing the perception of beer — forever.
We brew a plethora of styles to explore what beer has and can become. As a joint and equal partnership between a brewer and a graphic artist our creative process has come to resemble the work shop of other pop cultural expressions such as music.
Our beers are always a collaborative effort and we brew at breweries in all corners of the world. This approach means we get to stay curious, grounded and tuned in. Much like that good house guest.

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours hazy pale amber with a small offwhite head that slowly dissiptes while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with dark bread, orange peal, resinous wood, moist grass, red apples and lemon balm. Taste is sweet and bitter with bread, moist grass, moist soil, orange peal, pine and hints of compost. Mouthfeel is tiny round, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, resinous wood, orange peal, pine and grass. Not my cup of tea.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Golden blonde color, somewhat hazy. Firm white head that leaves good lace. Aroma’s: buttery (diacetyl??), sourish, fruity, a bit sweet , earthy. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Medium bodied. Finishes rather bitter. Weird, not very well (or not at all) balanced.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy and spicy hops, combined with fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes. Of malt, straw, lemons, and peaches, leading to a bitter finish.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, passion fruit, pineapple and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango, lychee and a fresh citric bitterness in a finish with a slight touch of alcohol shining through. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Seriously fresh and deceptively drinkable. Lovely beer!

Draught @SBWF12. Poured hazy golden with a thick white head. Lovely tropical fruity hoppy aroma, balancing caramel and toffee in flavor along with tropical fruits. Biting bitter and fruity finish that lasts long. One of the better beers I tasted on SBWF12.

Sample @ SBWF. This is not a "bad" beer, as in badly brewed, not just my cup of tea. It’s way to bitter to be drinkable.
