Description
Omnipollo® is a beer production company founded by brewer Henok Fentie and artist Karl Grandin in 2010 with a shared vision of changing the perception of beer — forever.
We brew a plethora of styles to explore what beer has and can become. As a joint and equal partnership between a brewer and a graphic artist our creative process has come to resemble the work shop of other pop cultural expressions such as music.
Our beers are always a collaborative effort and we brew at breweries in all corners of the world. This approach means we get to stay curious, grounded and tuned in. Much like that good house guest.

Draught sample @ SBWF. Pours golden, semi hazy, with a white head. Crisp citrus and grape notes. Also some gooseberries. However - not fruity enough to balance the enormous bitterness. Still good, tough.

Bottle sample at SBFW. Pours red with a big creamy yellowish head. Aroma of an hoppy american strong ale like double bastard. A too bitter brew with some coffee and grape seeds.

Sample at SBWF 2012. A bit hazy light amber with a small white head. The aroma was malty with toffee and chocolate. Also some light notes of fruit, the same in the taste. Also nuts and some earth. The most "boring" one so far from Omnipollo

33 cl bottle @ lusikka, no BBE info
Aroma is hoppy with gooseberry bush, nettles and some exotic fruits. Flavour is fruity with hops, mandarin, some orange and gooseberry bush. Grapefruit in the finish and aftertaste. A bit stale but good still.

Aroma has hops, gooseberry bush, soapy citrus and floral notes. Also some spices. Flavour has soapy citrus, some grassy hops, gooseberry bush, fruits and hints of spices. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Refreshing and good.

Draught @ The Rover. Pours very hazy deep golden with a big frothy goldenish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, very fruity, tiny herbal and tiy earthy with crackers, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, peaches, slightly dry grass, cookies, pine, dark grapes and alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity and herbal with cookie dough, alcohol, pine, mango, lemon balm, peaches, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, freshly cut grass, crackers, winegums, gooseberries, lemon balm and dill. Mouthfeel is round, slightly boozy, tiny astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, lemon balm, alcohol, gooseberries, lemon zest, grapes and dill. Bit too boozy but still very tasty.
