Description
The origin of the brewery go back to 1968 when Henninger Hellas company, the local Greek distributor of the German Henninger beer, was founded. In 1994 it was renamed as Northern Greece Brewery. In 1997 Mythos Beer was introduced, and in 2001 the company renamed itself as the Mythos Brewery S.A. Since 2008 it has been a subsidiary of Carlsberg Group. In 2014 a restructured Olympic Brewery was established after the merger of Mythos and Olympic.
Olympic Brewery is a strong and reliable company in the domestic beer market. Combining Greek DNA and the global imprint of the Carlsberg Group dynamics, it is a key player that not only envisions, but can also change the beer map of Greece. In 2018 Carlsberg acquired the remaining 49% in Olympic Brewery. When Mythos Brewery and Olympic merged in 2014, Carlsberg already had already gained a controlling 51 % share in the company.

Bottled and cans and on tap @ Greece (the imported one doesn’t have the same taste). Quite a nice industrial lager with a decent bitter taste. Light bodied, easily drinkable. Above average.

Bottiglia.
